Jack’s Hammer ;

– Hail from Herefordshire, Midlands, UK.

– Formed in 1993, and never once experienced a line-up change in their 16 years, until calling it a day in June of 2009.
However, Hammer just couldn’t stay dead, so the band reformed but a mere four months later.

– Have so far released two full length self-financed CDs – “Sometime After Never” in 2000 and “Hammerized” in 2004.
2007 saw the release of “Asylum”, a 5 song EP that is still available on iTunes.

– March 7th of 2008 saw Hammer do a four song live session and interview for ‘The Friday Session’ on BBC Hereford & Worcester (radio). The band also did another two-song live session for BBC Hereford & Worcester, when the show broadcasted live from the Wyeside Music Festival, in 2009.

– The band have, to date, played three times at the aforementioned popular local Wyeside Music Festival ; in 2005, 2008 and 2009 respectively.
Hawkwind were the headlining band in 2008 and Voodoo Johnson headlined in 2009

– 2010 has seen Hammer begin work on a new CD/EP, tentatively titled “XVII”.
“Clouds” is the first song from it, and the track is available to listen to at Hammer’s MySpace page.
